Day 01: Yangon Arrival M
Welcome by the Golden Orbit Travels representative on arrival at Yangon international airport and transfer to the hotel. After a brief fresh up, visit to Karaweik Hall (Floating Barge on the Kandawgyi Lake) and then visit the marvelous Shwedagon Pagoda, the glistening golden stupa that towers over the capital and one of the wonders of the world, is the spiritual center of the country. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon
After breakfast, start the orientation tour of Yangon, walking tour includes Sule Pagoda, the City Hall & Colonial buildings. In the afternoon, visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott’s Market), where one can buy many items in one place. Bogyoke Market was built in colonial times and has a colonial shape. Visit "Chaukhtathgyi Pagoda" it is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67m long. And walk along the China town to touch busy Yangon local life in the evening. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03: Yangon - Bagan
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Bagan. Transfer to Hotel and check in. After refreshment, start sightseeing in Bagan, is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia. Tour sites included the Bagan Museum, the Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden Stupa, Wetkyi-in Gubyakgyi, a temple with murals paintings and the elegant Htiominlo temple noted for its fine plaster carvings. After Lunch, continue visit to Ananda, an architectural masterpiece of the early style temple with four impressive standing Buddha temples. At the end of the day, view sunset at Shwesandaw to watch the sun drop into distant hills and experience peaceful, tranquil moment and indescribable magical power of Bagan. Stay overnight at the Hotel in Bagan.
Day 04: Bagan
After breakfast, visit Nyaung Oo Market, then proceeded to Sulamani temple, Shwegugyi Temple, and Minanthu village. In the afternoon, the tour includes a stop at a local lacquer -ware workshop to watch the skilled artisans at work on the various stages over a period of six months. Then proceed to old Bagan for a pony cart tour among the temples, Thatbyinnyu and Damayan Gyi before sunset. Evening enjoy Bagan’s most popular sunset from one of the best location. Stay overnight at the Hotel in Bagan.
Day 05: Bagan - Pakkuku - Monywa
After breakfast, proceed your journey to Monywa via Pakokku, visit the famous sites in Pakkoku such as Thihoshin Temple, local market and cheroot workshop. After that, proceed to Monywa, visit Thanboday Pagoda and Bodi Tahtaung and overnight in Monywa.
Day 06: Monya - Sagaing - Mandalay
After breakfast, the excursion to Hpo Win Daung Caves for its wall paintings and Shwe Ba Hill are also a must in Monywa. After lunch, proceed to Sagaing, en route the peaceful neighboring town on the other side of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. It is considered the living center of the Buddhist faith in Myanmar and famous among the locals as the retreat. The landscape is dotted with over 600 monasteries and nunneries. Here, Smile Myanmar will take you to the unique Kaungmhudaw pagoda and to Zayar Theingi Nunnery with hundreds of women scholars. Enjoy misty view of Sagaing and the famous Ayeyarwaddy River from the top of Sun Oo Ponnayashin Pagoda. Sagaing is also famous for its silversmiths, whose work follows traditions passed down for centuries creating the most intricate designs using simple tools. Proceed to Mandalay and will arrive late to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 07: Mandalay
After breakfast, visit gold leaf workshop (handmade), Maharmuni Pagoda the most revered pagoda in Mandalay, and stone curving quarter. Visit Shwe Nandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) the most well-known wooden monastery in the country, famous for its intricate carvings. It is the only original building from Mandalay Palace having miraculously survived the bombings of WW(II). And then, Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the biggest book in the world with hundreds of marble slabs inscribed with the entire Buddhist Canon. In the evening. And then, explore to Mandalay Hill, a vantage points for a panoramic view of the city and a spectacular sunset view. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 08: Amarapura - Ava - Mingun
After breakfast, drive to Amarapura, visit a bridge, called U Bein which belongs to 1782 recuperated from the waste of an abandoned palace totally in teak wood accredited to the achievement of the mayor U Bein. It is worthy to have a stroll up the hill enjoying panoramic views from different location. Continue to Ava and visit by horse carts to Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monastery built by the chief queen Me Nu in 1818 for the venerable chief monk is the unique brick type building, Nan Myint Tower-27-meter masonry high is declined due to the earthquake in 1838, Bargayar Monastery well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. And then, Mingun Boat Trip, It is located across majestic Ayeyarwaddy River approximately 12 kilometers north of Mandalay. Mya Thein Dan Pagoda and Mingun today hosts the world second largest ringing Bell of 90 tons in weight and unfinished pagoda to go with it. Mingun Payagyi was dedicated to be the world largest monument however which today stood to be the world largest brick pile. Sunset enjoy on the boat after back from Mingun.
Day 09: Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake
After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Mandalay airport to fly to Heho. Welcome at Heho airport and transfer to Naung Shwe Jetty. Your private boat will be waiting and transfer to hotel by boat. Visit Inle lake, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the most venerable pagoda on the lake, which houses 05 images of Buddha completely gilded, Inn Paw Khon village to observes the silk weaving factory and handicrafts, and And proceed to Ywamagyi Monestry, Kyaesarkone village which is fishing village and jumping cat monastery (well-known Nga Pe Kyaung) and Floating Garden. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
Day 10: Indein - Inle Lake
After breakfast, Indein villages where enjoy the green firms and that you can see the streams and 1050 pagodas which were built 17th Century ago and explore to Bamboo villages and lunch there. And visit to Silver Workshop factory at Ywama Village - long neck people (Padaung People) etc. And go back to Hotel and rest the Hotel and feel the beautiful Inle Lake. (If you want to walk the village, will send to the May Ni Gone Village in the evening.) Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
Day 11: Inle Lake - Yangon
After breakfast transfer to Heho for our flight back to Yangon. Welcome to Yangon again and transfer to Hotel. Visit National Museum, thus is a treasure chest of priceless stone inscriptions. documents. carvings. paintings and a host of other artifacts that testify to the ancient culture and civilization of the Myanmar people. Free and easy in the early evening and join farewell dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 12: Yangon Departure
Breakfast at the Hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning. You will be transferred back to the airport in time for your flight back home.
